When Gretel and her brother Hansel were children, their father took them from their home and left them in the woods. They wandered, lost in the dark until they came across a house made of candy. What they didn't know was that inside was a witch waiting to fatten them up so she could eat them.

Gretel was forced to watch as her brother was stuffed full of candy, making the oven hotter. However, it wasn't her brother that ended up in the oven, but the witch herself.

Now, years later, Gretel and her brother travel across the land hunting witches and protecting the children of others. For a price.
